What’s your name?
Addison Michael Foote Esquire…no I only wish a had a cool suffix…

02

Where are you from?
St. George, Utah

How old are you?
22

03

How long have you been skimming?
3 years

What is your favorite trick?
Anything Chris Angel does…

04

Who do you skim with?
Shwau (Josh Gibson) Keric and Maggie Seegmiller. And whoever else happens to exist in the same vicinity as me while I’m skimming. So…muskrats I guess.

What skim spots do you ride at?
Virgin River Waterfall, The Ecosystem and the bridge in Bloomington.

05

Where have you traveled to skimboard?
Sacramento, California. Tacoma, Washington. Kanab, Utah (If that counts as traveling)

Where do you want to travel to skim?
I used to live in Germany, but I never got to skim while I was there, so I’d like to go back and check out the skim scene over there.

What board(s) do you ride?
I ride a Large DB Streamline.

Do you compete?
Semi….

06

If so, what competitions have you competed in?
I’ve only competed in one. It was a week ago at the Dash Point Pro/Am in Tacoma

07

And what are some of your contest highlights?
Watching everybody else skim. Those Canadians are good at stuff.

Do you have any sponsors? What companies?
Dashboard Skimboards!!! Oh Yeah!!! and my mom

What other board sports do you partake in?
None. I’ve actually never snowboarded or even skateboarded…I tried longboarding once. That was kinda fun if that counts for anything

What skimboarding goals do you have?
To become more consistant…I just got back from one of the suckiest sessions I’ve ever had. I also want to land a Frontside 720 shuv

Where do you see the skimboarding going in the future?
I didn’t even know what skimboarding was until the summer before my senior year in high school. Now days everybody in St. George has at least heard of it, so it’s definitely growing. Hopefully it expands to more places around the world. x-games?

What riders influenced your skimboarding?
Keric, Shwau, and other local skimmers like Lexi Hutchings and Rich Gardner inspired me to want to become better.

What riders are pushing the sport right now?
Isaac Thomas. Logan Davidson. The whole DB crew. Lynch, not just with skimming, but with what he does with Tydlemag. John Minns. Tim Ladner. Kayotics riders. Anyone who skims pushes the sport further.

If you were stranded on a desert island that already has a plentiful resource of skimboards what three things would you bring?
First of all…a Chiropractor (my back freaking kills right now.) Cafe Rio, and a phone, just in case I got sick of the island, I’d call someone to get me the fetch off.

What is the best advice you can to a skim grom trying to get recognized?
Skim a ton and don’t fall a lot. Trust me it hurts and its dumb looking. Maybe wear an ape suit.

Last words? Shout outs?
DB Skimboards are the best flatland skimboards ever made. Get one. They’re magical.
